It’s a new era for music. These two are setting the standard. This incredibly talented couple from England are reeling in the world with their beautiful cover songs, carefully selected from some of history’s finest, and delivered with more soul, more passion, and more skill than I’ve heard in many decades.
I first heard them do “America.” At first they sounded almost too simple, then I noticed they were bringing out of the depths of myself feelings I had not experienced in a long time. I paid close attention because suddenly I had to. Jack’s background guitar playing added lead-type bits as though the ghost of Duane Allman (world’s best guitarist of all time) was adding song-specific and totally appropriate notes to the vocal harmonies given by the two. Daisy’s perfect voice came in at unusual times adding a choral quality to the duo’s singing. Here they are:
There was more. Lots more.
I listened to a couple more of their tunes and then got to “The Boxer,” Simon & Garfunkle’s old song redone by Jack & Daisy. Hate to admit it but I was soon crying. With Daisy’s rhythm guitar carrying the beat, their voices soared to the heavens and really moved me. For the love of God, if you like music, check them out.

They will soon be extremely large. That’s my prediction, today, 5 May 2025, the anniversary of my mother’s birth.
